SAT
No more paper-based tests! From March 2024, the College Board is providing SAT in a 100% digital format. The students will now need to get familiarized with the tools and features of this new modality. AltaFuga is ready to provide students with the necessary support to make this transition as smooth as possible. Digital SAT is an adaptive examination experience, which means that a student’s performance on a first module, in both the Reading & Writing and the Math sections, determines the depth of a second, final module. In addition to offering strategic tools, AltaFuga’s programs also focus on the required core academic curricula for a successful testing experience.
ACT
ACT is as valid as the SAT for application to colleges in the United States and other countries. Offered by ACT.org, a non-profit organization of the same name, this paper-based exam measures high school students’ general educational development and their ability to complete multiple-choice, college-level work. At AltaFuga, we provide the students with the necessary strategies and coverage in the four tested academic areas: English, mathematics, reading, and scientific reasoning.
K-12 MATH

CHEMISTRY
An crucial goal of the American Chemical Society (ACS) is to support excellence in chemical education. Most schools in the United States now follow the 2012 ACS guidelines and recommendations for teaching secondary chemistry. At AltaFuga we have the skills and tools necessary to provide tutoring support to high school and college students in their chemistry programs.
BIOLOGY
AltaFuga tutors are trained and knowledgeable to provide support to high school students taking biology. We cover a wide range of topics, from macromolecules, to cell biology, to basic microbiology.
SPANISH
Spanish private tutoring and small-group courses are offered for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. In addition, we offer Spanish for Business (El español de los negocios) for business people.

SAT
At AltaFuga, we provide tutoring support to students who need help with their academic math programs. Our tutors have extensive experience in teaching US curricula from pre-algebra to calculus, emphasizing the fundamental skills of critical thinking and problem-solving.
ACT
At AltaFuga, we provide small-group ACT courses with a minimum of two students, a maximum of 6. There are three training modalities: standard course (12 h), intermediate course (24 h), and advanced course (36 h). Each lesson runs for 2 hours. These lessons are designed to address the strategies and core content of the four sections of the ACT exam.

AP CHEMISTRY
In a small group AP chemistry course at AltaFuga, the student will practice, with the help and guidance of the tutor, problems that address fundamental chemistry concepts, including the structure and states of matter, intermolecular forces, and reactions. The student will carry out practical laboratory investigations and use chemical calculations to solve them.
AP BIOLOGY
A small-group AP biology course at AltaFuga addresses the basic scientific principles, theories, and processes that govern living organisms and biological systems. The student will carry out practical laboratory activities to investigate natural phenomena.
AP CALCULUS
In a small-group AP Calculus (AB/BC) course at AltaFuga, the student will explore the concepts, methods, and applications of differential and integral calculus, working to understand the theoretical foundations and solve problems by applying their knowledge and skills.
SPANISH AND SPANISH FOR BUSINESS
Spanish language students will have the opportunity to attend small-group courses at AltaFuga. Lessons are designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. A small-group course of Spanish for Business is also offered. Spanish for business is recommended for intermediate/advanced students.

With our talented tutors, you will be able to take twelve hours of SAT or ACT classes in small groups, and then work on your areas of greatest need receiving individualized attention to maximize your learning during the private session hours. We also offer hybrid combinations of 10 hours of private sessions with 24 hours of small-group SAT or ACT classes and 20 hours of private sessions with 36 hours of small-group SAT or ACT classes.
